The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is announcing the availability of and requesting comments on the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Titusville-Cocoa Airport Authority (TCAA) Launch Site Operator License.

TCAA has applied for a Launch Site Operator License from the FAA to operate a commercial space launch site at the Space Coast Regional Airport (TIX). TCAA would offer the site for the operation of horizontal take-off and landing reusable launch vehicles (RLVs).

The FAA will hold a public meeting in Titusville, Florida:

355 Golden Knights Boulevard, Titusville, Florida 32780
WHEN: January 8th, 2020, 5:00 pm – 8:00

During this meeting, FAA representatives will have the chance to answer questions about the Draft EA. Members of the public will have the chance to provide written comments or provide an oral comment to a court reporter.

In addition to providing comments during the public meeting, the FAA encourages all interested parties to provide comments, electronically or by post, concerning the scope and content of the Draft EA by January 17, 2020. The addresses for sending comments are as follows
