The Regular Board Meeting of the Titusville-Cocoa Airport Authority, Which Was Scheduled for Thursday, January 21, 2021 Has Been Cancelled

The Next Regular Board Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. The meeting will be held in the Airport Administration Building at 355 Golden Knights Blvd., Titusville, FL and will be held virtually through Zoom.  Members of the public will be able to attend the meeting broadcast in our atrium outside the board room, but will be allowed to enter the board room and address the Board directly during the Public & Tenants Report. (one at a time)

Facilities Technician I

This is an entry‐level position requiring a high school diploma or receipt of equivalent general education Diploma (GED) and current valid Florida Driver’s License without suspension.
Employee performs a variety of labor‐intensive duties in the construction and trade areas such as:

  • Carpentry
  • Plumbing
  • Lawn Care
  • Electrical
  • Masonry,
  • Painting,
  • Roofing and Paving
  • Fence Building and Repair
  • Mechanical
  • Heating and Air Conditioning​

Performs special duties on projects as assigned. Generally performs unskilled manual tasks, semi‐skilled tasks may be assigned as special knowledge is acquired by on the job experience. Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
Employee is expected to be able to operate safely and efficiently all equipment associated with the above tasks. Equipment as follows:

  • Power Tools
  • Edger & Blowers
  • Lawn Mowers & Tractor Mowers
  • Construction Backhoe
  • Front End Loader
  • Dump Truck
  • Lowboy Hauling Equipment
  • All Manual & Power Tools

Employee is expected, on occasion to operate light and heavy automotive equipment requiring a license and special skills. Employee must be able to comprehend and react properly to both oral and written instructions.
